DS vs PSP: Weekly shares of 67.4 / 32.6 bring total shares to 69.0 / 31.0. If DS stopped selling and PSP continued at this week's rate, it would catch up in 116.4 weeks (March 23, 2011).
X360 vs PS3: Weekly shares of 22.1 / 77.9 bring total shares to 24.0 / 76.0. If PS3 stopped selling and X360 continued at this week's rate, it would catch up in 137.8 weeks (August 20, 2011).
PS3 vs Wii: Weekly shares of 25.4 / 74.6 bring total shares to 26.0 / 74.0. If Wii stopped selling and PS3 continued at this week's rate, it would catch up in 105.6 weeks (January 7, 2011).
PSP vs Wii: At this week's rates, Wii catches up to PSP in 235.6 weeks (July 5, 2013). If PSP stopped selling and Wii continued at this week's rate, it would catch up in 28.3 weeks (July 14, 2009).
Week over week consoles were up and portables down, with PSP's change being the most noticeable.
Were PS2's 10K hardware days finally over? Apparently not! But OK this one for really is maybe the last.
PS3 2008 failing to end the year explosively, it does fall behind GCN 2003 by about 45K, narrowly missing 1 million.
DS hits 25 million.

2. That last chart is interesting. Notice how the Wii mirrors the PSP almost exactly after week 141?
I wonder if we can take anything from that. Does it show how well the PSP has done that it is keeping pace with the red-hot Wii? Probably a poor comparison, but interesting.
You're not far off there. Wii was making up ground on PSP fast, but if we measure since PSP-2000/Crisis Core, PSP has a lead of about 1.5 million. That's pretty big, but on an image that shows up to 25 million it doesn't look it so much.
If we compare sales from Wii launch to present it looks like Wii still has about a 370K lead.
