What happened? I was within 1800 units of the actual values of the PSP, PS2, PS3, and the 360. I was 3000 units away from the actual value of Wii sales and almost 8600 away from DS' actual sales.
On the ones I was within 1800 units on, I think we're in an established pattern here and you will see that replicated with next week's projection for them. For the other two, incidently both market leaders for their type of hardware, I believe the economy and the coming DSi suppressed demand a bit.
Looking ahead, Wii Music comes out this week and all indicators suggest that we will see a Wii hardware bump.

* The real wild card here is Wii Music. What is the magic % increase for hardware on a title like that?
** PSP 3000 releasing. Is this wildly underestimating? Probably. They reportedly shipped 300k. PSP 2000 sold 264k in its first week.
So what do you think? You think Wii Music will move more hardware than that? Less? You think another Gundam title will push PS2 above 10k? Will 360 stop its slide? Will PS3 have any dignity at all by the end of the year?
As always, leave your thoughts in the comments.
Thanks to Kurosaki Ichigo @ neogaf for additional PSP information.

PSP 68,000
Wii 31,000
DS 30,000
PS2 6,500
360 6,500
PS3 5,500
Since PSP averaged 55k or so for a long time this year, I think it should do a little bit better on launch week of the new model.
