LotusCharts is now CHART GET!

10/6/08

Here's what we're doing:
1. New Chart Get! branding on everything.
2. New Banner (submissions welcome).
3. Updating all links, favorites, and email.
4. Modifying certain past articles to reflect new branding.
5. Building an email list for media releases when new charts are released.

This process will take a minute and will be a semi-restart from the momentum we had gained as a site, but will ultimately lead to a self-sustaining site that can provide the best and most trustworthy game charts anywhere.

If you'd like to join the team, join our media release contact list, or have any submissions/ideas/comments about Chart Get! please don't hesitate to email us. We will respond under 24 hours.

Thank you for your patience (and update your links!)

If you're wondering about the name change, it has everything to do with the ability to build a unique identity and valuable brand. I chose to make the jump now while we're still building our visitor base, rather than trying to change our branding mid-stream as we grow.

Thanks for your patience everybody, your feedback really is helping!

Named after the famous Japanese Mario Sunshine 'Shine Get' I assume? I like.

A charts site being names after a relative sales failure si somewhat fitting too.

It seems a little strange that LotusCharts already exists.

Still, I like that you've kept the typeface and general look.

I like it. As more people add their own things, having a name spun off of the founder would continue to make less sense anyway.

Awesome comments so far. I like both positive and negative, so don't be shy. I know there's always room for improvement, but I'm overly critical too...so if someone else mentions something I was already worried about I will usually change it.

As always, your ideas and your input is most valuable.
