UK - Ashes Cricket 2009 Knocks Wii Sports Resort off the Top

New release Ashes Cricket 2009 has knocked Wii Sports Resort off the top of the UK Software Chart after just two weeks. The Codemasters title marks the first time a UK publisher has reached the top of the All Formats chart since Eidos in 2007.

THQ’s top-selling UFC 2009 Undisputed dropped from 8th place to 22nd, while G-Force jumped from 26th to 9th place, coinciding with the film's theatrical release.

Some other titles that saw sharp declines in sales include Infamous, from 27th to 36th place, and Race Driver: GRID, from 24th to 38th place. The decrease in UK business follows news of a weak 2nd quarter in the United States.
