Following the success of UFC 2009 Undisputed, THQ has posted a $6.4 million Q1 profit. The addition of Red Faction: Guerrilla to its core lineup of games has helped boost net sales up 77 percent to $243.5 million.
With its cut-cutting measures in recent years, including trimming studio personnel and overhead, THQ has started to rise from financial trouble to a potential profitable year at last.
THQ CEO Brian Farrell acknowledged the company’s global employees, citing their “hard work and dedication” as a key to THQ’s success.
