UK - Wii Fit Remains Number 1 for 8th Week in 2009; Godfather II Held in 2nd

Nintendo has maintained its healthy lead on the UK Top 40 Software Chart, with Wii Fit at number 1 for the 12th week. Wii Fit has been number 1 in the UK for 8 weeks in 2009 alone.

With sales of the Godfather II down 32%, the new EA release is at number 2, and the publisher’s popular FIFA 09 moves up from number 5 to number 3.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate plummeted from number 20 to number 40 this past week. Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty 4 are still selling well in the UK, at number 9 and 13, respectively.
