Resident Evil 5 has made a strong debut at number 1 on the UK top 40 software charts, becoming the fastest selling title in the franchise’s history, and Capcom’s biggest launch to date.
About 4 million units shipped for launch, following about 4 million downloads of the demo, according to Gamasutra.
In the ever-shifting top-10 during an exciting month for game software, Wii Fit and Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. gained a rank, despite decreased sales of14% and 19%, respectively.
